ADAM Program

The ADAM Program allows the public to help law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) locate missing children quickly. Donated by LexisNexis® Risk Solutions for use by NCMEC, the ADAM Program quickly distributes missing child posters including a photo and important information to specific geographic search areas where the child might be recognized and found safely. 

Children who run away comprise the majority of missing child cases distributed through the ADAM Program. These children are vulnerable and exposed to higher risks of homelessness, violence and trafficking. The ADAM Program can be used by NCMEC for any type of missing child case, including children who run away or wander from home, long-term missing children, as well as to supplement an AMBER Alert for critical cases. The ADAM Program relies heavily on the public and businesses and individuals can sign up for free to receive missing child alerts in their area at adamprogram.com.
